Terms and Conditions of Hire for Log Cabins and Caravan
 

 

• All terms and conditions for booking and using our holiday accommodation are for the benefit of all of our guests to ensure your comfort and enjoyment at all times throughout your stay with us.

• There are information packs in each of the cabins containing contact details in case of any queries or problems.

• Lettings are from 3pm on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure.

• A non-refundable deposit of £50 is payable on booking and the balance payable at least 6 weeks before arrival.

• All money is non refundable in the event of cancellation unless we are able to re-let.

• Prices are per cabin/caravan, not per person, this includes a fishing permit for those staying.

• Guests of those staying who wish to fish will be charged at our normal day rate.

• Dogs to be kept on a lead when outside the accommodation.

• Smoking is not allowed inside any property. Failure to respect this policy will result in a £50 charge for cleaning.

Lakeview Lodges Booking Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

 

1.1  These conditions apply to all guests at and visitors to lakeview Lodges and Lakeview Caravan.

2. Bookings

 

2.1  Guests must book in advance. Lettings are from 3pm on day of arrival until 10am on day of departure. A non refundable deposit of £50 per week is payable on booking and the balance payable at least 6 weeks before arrival. All money is non refundable in the event of cancellation unless we are able to re-let.

 

3. Check-in and Check-out Times

 

3.1  Guests may check-in at any time from 3pm on day of arrival.

 

3.2  On departure, guests must vacate their accommodation by no later than 10am.

 

4. Charges

 

4.1  Guests are requested to have settled their account prior to departure.

5. Right of Refusal

 

5.1  Lakeview Lodges reserve the right to refuse a guest entry and accommodation if, on arrival, management reasonable considers that the guest is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, is unsuitable dressed or is behaving in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner. Such refusal will result in the forfeit of all monies paid.

6. Disturbance

 

Lakeview Lodges reserve the right to require a guest to leave if he/she is causing disturbance, annoying other guests or staff or is behaving in an unacceptable manner. Such action will result in the forfeit of all payments made with no refunds.

 

7. Complex Rules

 

7.1  Guests shall agree not to accommodate more persons than agreed at booking.

 

7.2  Guests must book pets in prior to arrival.

7.3  Guests are not allowed to smoke inside any properties. Smoking areas are available outside each accommodation.

8. Valuables

​

8.1  Guests with valuables should ensure the safety and security of such valuables at all times.

​

8.2  Lakeview Lodges will not be liable for any loss or damage to any valuables brought on site by guests and visitors.

 

9. Losses, Liabilities, Responsibilities etc

 

9.1  In the event of any loss of personable valuables, guests should report any loss of or damage to their property immediately and shall make themselves available to assist with any reports made by Lakeview Lodges staff to the local police authorities.

 

9.2  Lakeview Lodges shall not be liable to a guest for any loss or damage to property caused by the misconduct or negligence of a guest or an Act of God, or where the guest remains in exclusive charge of the property concerned.

 

9.3  Lakeview Lodges is not liable for any loss or damage caused to a guests vehicle, unless proven to be caused by the wilful misconduct of Lakeview Lodges staff.

 

9.4  Site safety is the responsibility of all individuals on site and in the event of any accident concerning individuals falling into a lake, suitable floatation devices are available at each lake. It is the responsibility of all individuals on site to make themselves aware of the location of all such safety devices.

 

9.5  Guests will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause at Lakeview Lodges.

 

9.6  These conditions shall be governed by English law and in the case of any dispute, all parties to such a dispute agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

 

 

Condition

 

Visitors are requested to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition.

 

 

Breakages/Damage

 

 

The hirer of any accommodation will be responsible for any breakages or damage and this must be reported to the owners. We reserve the right to seek compensation for any damage discovered after visitors have departed.

Cancellation Policy

 

 

Should you have to cancel your holiday please inform us immediately by telephone/email. In the event of cancellation, you will be responsible for the balance of payment unless we are able to re-let the accommodation. Should we have to cancel your holiday our liability to a full refund only. Visitors are responsible for their own cancellation insurance.
