Lakeside lodges boast three established lakes. A fishing permit is provided for all guests,
but you will also need your own Environment Agency fishing licence too.

The lakes can be fished all year round; they are well stocked with Carp (common & mirror), Rudd, Roach and Bream.

Dawn till Dusk Fishing Only

Anyone found to be night fishing will be asked to leave their accommodation



• All fishing tackle/ chairs etc to be moved from edge of the lake in the evening,
  and when finished fishing

• Catch and release only

• Tents and bivvy's can be used, please remove when you have finished fishing

• Bread cannot to be used as bait, or thrown into the lake

• Barbless hooks only

• Size 12 hooks or smaller to be used

• All fish to be landed in landing nets

• All excess bait, and litter to be put in bins provided

• No keep nets

• Alarms/ Buzzers are not allowed

• Only 1 rod per angler

• Method feeders can be used

• Unhooking mats to be used

 

BAITS TO BE USED:

• Carp pellets (floater/sinkers)

• Maggots

• Worms

• Casters

• Paste (on hook only)

• Pellets

• Micro pellets

• Crushed pellets

 

No bigger than 50mm feeder or pole cup to be used

 

DO NOT USE:

• Any ground bait

• Meat of any kind (including pet food)

• Sweet corn

• Hemp/ Tares

• Nuts

• Dog biscuits

• Boilies

• Bread
